# Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of **Document Resizer**, an Android mobile application developed and operated by **CIBRU** (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing, downloading, or using Document Resizer, you agree to be bound by these Terms to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the application.
App purpose: prepare selected photos, signature images and PDFs by resizing, cropping, compressing, converting and arranging supported pages to requirements you enter. Document processing occurs on your device. Online referral and purchase-verification services are described in our Privacy Policy; cloud imports and exports also follow the chosen provider's practices.
## 1. Eligibility and License
You must be at least **18 years of age** and have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms, or possess valid parental/guardian authorization where required by applicable law.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, CIBRU grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Document Resizer on personal Android devices solely for your lawful personal or business document preparation needs.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the application software, UI designs, code, brand names, and assets remain the exclusive intellectual property of CIBRU and its licensors. Open-source third-party components remain subject to their respective open-source licenses.
### 2. Document Accuracy & Non-Affiliation Disclaimer
**Independent Software Tool:** Document Resizer is an independent utility designed to help users resize, crop, convert, and compress images and PDF documents. CIBRU is **NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by** any government authority, state agency, educational institution, university, testing body, examination board, or recruitment portal.
**Presets are General Guidelines Only:** Preset specifications (such as passport photos, exam dimensions, and file size thresholds) are provided for convenience only. Requirements are subject to frequent change by receiving authorities without notice. You are **solely responsible** for independently checking and verifying that your exported documents comply with all current specifications of the intended recipient prior to final submission.
**Quality & Output Verification:** Compression and resizing may reduce visual resolution, alter metadata, or change readability. You must inspect the complete exported document before submission and maintain independent backup copies of your original files.
PDF visual-copy operations can flatten pages and remove selectable text, forms, annotations, links, accessibility structure and digital-signature validity. A signature image is not a cryptographic signature. The app does not authenticate documents, certify identity, provide legal advice or submit applications for you. Technical checks address entered constraints, not every recipient requirement.
## 3. Your Files and Permitted Use
You retain full ownership of all documents, photographs, signature files, and PDFs that you process using the app. You warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and lawful authority to process the files you select.
You agree **NOT** to use Document Resizer to:
- Forge, falsify, or tamper with official documents, credentials, or government records.
- Impersonate any person or entity or commit fraud.
- Process materials that infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Distribute malicious software or interfere with app integrity.
- Manipulate referral rewards, exploit automated bots, or artificially falsify installation attributions.
## 4. Local Storage and Availability
Working copies are temporary. Files older than 24 hours are eligible for cleanup when the app runs startup cleanup; this is not a guaranteed 24-hour timer. Settings → Clear Temporary Files attempts removal of inactive workspaces and sharing copies and can preserve the active workspace. Save outputs you want to keep; cleanup does not remove exported copies at their destination.
CIBRU does not provide cloud backup, archival storage, or file recovery services for your processed documents. You are responsible for saving exported files to permanent storage or independent cloud backups.
## 5. Paid Services, Billing & Subscriptions
Core single-document tools remain available without paying. Premium lifts the free-tier custom-preset and images-to-PDF limits and removes local promotional placements. Device/file/page/memory limits still apply. Local processing privacy is available to free users too.
- **Paid Subscriptions:** Governed by our Subscriptions, Cancellation and Refunds Policy. Where available, Weekly (reference US$0.49/week), Monthly (reference US$1.49/month) and Annual (reference US$14.99/year) plans renew until canceled through Google Play. These are configuration references, not verified live offers. Weekly has no free trial; eligible Monthly offers include 3 days and eligible Annual offers include 7 days. Google Play controls actual localized prices and trial eligibility. Without an eligible trial, billing starts on confirmation. After a trial, the full displayed monthly or annual amount becomes due and renews at that interval unless canceled before the trial ends; annual charges are paid in full, not monthly installments. Review the full period price, trial conversion and renewal date before confirmation.
- **Referral Rewards:** Governed by our Referral Rewards Terms. Promotional VIP access has no cash value, is non-transferable, and does not automatically cancel a paid Google Play subscription.
No separate CIBRU purchase login is required. Paid access requires a completed purchase, backend verification and any required acknowledgement; a pending payment does not unlock Premium. Restore Purchases checks existing Play purchases and can resume syncing after purchase-data deletion. Uninstall, unsync, local reset or data deletion does not cancel billing or request a refund. Cancel in Play under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Document Resizer → Cancel subscription. ## 6. External Services and Third-Party Links
When you choose to export documents to cloud services or share them via third-party apps, those services operate under their own independent terms and privacy practices. Processing and online features depend on supported formats, device resources and service availability. We do not guarantee third-party availability or acceptance.
## 7. Disclaimers of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Document Resizer is provided on an **“AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”** basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation.
## 8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CIBRU and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, opportunities, or rejection of application submissions, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the application.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud or deliberate misconduct. Mandatory refund and other consumer rights are preserved.
## 9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
If you experience an issue or have a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@cibru.in to seek an amicable resolution. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without prejudice to mandatory statutory consumer protections in your country of residence.
## 10. Modifications to Terms
We may reasonably update the app or restrict online access to address security, fraud, misuse or legal requirements. Changes to paid services and earned rewards remain subject to applicable consumer rights. We will date updated Terms and give notice or request agreement where required. You may stop using the app; use Data Deletion to request server-side removal. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms apply to the extent lawful.
