Data Deletion Policy. Transparent control over your information.

Governed by Cibru Interactive (cibru.in) • Lead Developer: Krishna Moni Borah • Release: v1.0.0

Commitment to Data Minimization & User Autonomy

At Cibru, our primary architectural principle is local-first processing. We do not maintain centralized user databases, social graphs, or persistent logs of your private activity. Below are instructions for managing, un-linking, and permanently deleting data associated with EchoBridge.

1. On-Device & Transient Data

All preferences, cached media, local history, and application settings for EchoBridge are stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local storage (EncryptedSharedPreferences).

To instantly clear local on-device data:

1. Open Android Settings → Apps → EchoBridge.

2. Tap Storage & cache → Clear storage (or uninstall the app).

3. All local configuration, cached tokens, and encryption keys are immediately wiped from your device.

2. Anonymous Referral Rewards Data

If you participated in the optional Free Premium Referral program, an anonymous referral profile was generated to tally credited installs and award Pro access.

Turn Off Sync on This Device:

You can immediately disconnect this device from future referral sync and halt milestone checks by visiting our dedicated unsync page:

Open Unsync Management Page
Permanent Profile Deletion:

To permanently erase your anonymous referral profile and credited events from our servers, email us at support@cibru.in with your referral code. Completed deletion purges your profile; a one-way anti-abuse hash is retained for up to 90 days before final cleanup.

3. Purchase Verification Data (Google Play)

Google Play manages all credit card and payment processing directly. Cibru never receives or stores your full payment credentials. Our verification server receives only the package name, product ID, and purchase token to validate subscription status.

In-App Purchase Data Deletion Action:

If you have an active or pending Google Play purchase recognised on your device:

  1. Open EchoBridge and tap the Pro or Premium status banner.
  2. Under active membership settings, tap Delete purchase verification data.
  3. Confirm the prompt. The app will immediately pause purchase syncing and request verification deletion from our server.
Important: Deleting verification data does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Please cancel your subscription separately in the Google Play Store (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).

4. Submitting a Direct Deletion Request

You do not need to install the app or purchase a subscription to request data deletion. Pursuant to the DPDP Act 2023, GDPR Article 17, and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may submit a deletion request at any time.

To request manual deletion, send an email to:

support@cibru.in

Please specify in your request:

  • App Name: EchoBridge
  • Scope of request: Referral Profile, Purchase Verification, or General Inquiries
  • Referral code or Google Play Order ID (GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX), if applicable

We will verify your request and confirm completion within 30 days. No fee is charged for standard deletion requests.

5. Official Application Deletion Charter

Data Deletion - EchoBridge | CIBRU # Data Deletion EchoBridge · Operated by CIBRU Effective date: October 20, 2026 · Version 1.2 > Deleting data, cancelling billing and removing local files are separate actions. Cancel subscription renewal in Google Play even if you also delete EchoBridge or its records. ## 1. Delete referral data - Open EchoBridge on the Android installation associated with your profile. - Open **Settings → Manage synced data**. - Choose **Delete referral data**, read the confirmation and select **Delete**. - Wait for the result. If the control is unavailable in your installed release, or deletion fails, contact support; retry an available control with internet access. **Before** sending the deletion request, the app saves a referral sync pause, clears local reward expiry/count, profile/code, registration state, raw referrer/timestamps and the in-memory Install Referrer cache, and invalidates VIP access. The pause remains across restarts and failed requests. Authentication is retained so the request can identify the existing referral session; the app does not create a new anonymous account just to delete an unknown one. Without a usable existing session, the app cannot confirm deletion; contact support. After the service acknowledges referral deletion, the app clears locally stored referral authentication credentials and retains the pause. A service acknowledgement is not independent confirmation of every server table, authentication account, log or backup being erased. Ask support to confirm service-side scope and any lawful retention. Deletion does not create a right to earn the same rewards again, delete another person's profile or cancel paid subscriptions. **Only an explicit tap on Restore Purchases resumes saved purchase and referral sync pauses within the app.** It resumes both before the Play result, even if no paid purchase is found, and can create a new anonymous session if credentials were deleted. It does not recreate deleted rewards or recover a lost identity. Wait for deletion to finish before deciding whether to resume. Opening Referral Rewards, retrying/refreshing, sharing, app startup/resume or starting a new purchase does not clear saved pauses. Clearing storage or reinstalling resets local preferences; default syncing may then create a new session. An email request alone does not change this device's sync setting. ## 2. Delete purchase verification data - Open **Settings → Manage synced data**. - Choose **Delete app purchase data**. - Read the confirmation, choose **Delete** and check the result. The app disables local paid access, saves a persistent purchase sync pause and sends deletion requests for the purchase tokens/products known to that installation. Syncing remains paused even if a request fails or no usable purchase record is available. A failed result does not confirm complete service-side deletion; some earlier requests may already have succeeded and known tokens or other local identifiers may remain for retry. Older purchases and unavailable records require support. This pause stops backend purchase verification, not Google Play queries or all network traffic. After all requested deletions are acknowledged, the app clears known/pending purchase records, token/order references and its paid-access verification cache. Pause metadata and a local random cache-namespace identifier remain; Clear storage removes them. Requests send the raw purchase token, product/app identifiers, request identifier and Play Integrity proof over HTTPS. The app cannot establish the service's storage format, retained markers or purge schedule; contact support for those details and for a broader deletion request. See Purchase Data Deletion. **This does not cancel billing, issue a refund or delete Google's records.** Only explicit **Restore Purchases** clears the saved syncing pause and may recreate eligible verification records. Startup, automatic Play queries, opening screens and starting a new purchase do not clear it. Another installation may verify a valid purchase. Referral data and audio settings are separate. ## 3. Cancel renewal Open https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions with the purchasing account, select EchoBridge and complete **Cancel subscription**. Alternatively use **Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → EchoBridge → Cancel subscription**. Cancel before the trial ends or the next renewal; we recommend at least **24 hours** in advance to complete and check confirmation. See Subscriptions, Cancellation and Refunds for USD reference prices (weekly $0.49 with immediate billing/no trial, monthly $1.49 after an eligible 3-day trial and annual $14.99 after an eligible 7-day trial), localized Play offers and refund guidance. ## 4. Remove local data and stop audio capture **Disconnect** before removing data: this stops the microphone recorder and audio transport. The microphone mute toggle or free-tier transmission pause alone does not release the recorder. You can also revoke microphone permission in Android settings. EchoBridge uses temporary audio buffers and has no built-in recording archive; stopping a stream is not a secure-memory-wipe guarantee. On Android, use **Settings → Apps → EchoBridge → Storage & cache → Clear storage** or uninstall the app. **Clear cache alone does not remove the app's saved purchase/referral preferences or authentication credentials.** Device wording varies. Clearing storage resets local sync-pause preferences as well as settings and credentials, so default syncing may run on the next start. On Windows, disconnect and choose **Quit EchoBridge** from the system tray, then uninstall it via Windows Settings (Installed Apps) or the Start Menu shortcut. Remove any retained `startup.log` / `crash.log` files beside the executable and separately saved diagnostic files. Copied PINs, diagnostics and referral links may also remain in system clipboard history or synced clipboard copies; manage those through the operating system and any receiving app. Drivers and virtual audio tools are separate products. EchoBridge has no cloud audio archive to delete; recordings made by another app must be removed from that app or service. Clearing local data does not submit server-deletion requests, cancel billing or erase operating-system backups. Where possible, complete server deletion first so the app still has credentials to identify the records. Clearing storage may lose your referral profile and reward access. ## 5. Manual requests and verification Email support@cibru.in with the subject **Data Deletion Request - EchoBridge**. Specify referral data, purchase verification records, a service-side authentication identity, support correspondence or the broader scope you want reviewed. Include the app name, relevant dates and an available referral code or Google Play order reference (format **`GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX`**, including any renewal suffix). These help locate records but do not alone prove ownership. We may request proportionate verification, especially if you no longer have the original installation. Never send PINs, passwords, full card details, raw purchase tokens, authentication tokens or audio as proof. We will handle verified requests within applicable legal time limits and explain needed information, limitations or lawful retention. Losing an anonymous session may make ownership difficult to establish; we cannot promise recovery or delete another person's records based on a public code. ## 6. Records outside in-app deletion Local credential removal does not itself delete a service-side authentication account. These controls do not automatically erase other apps' data, provider logs/backups, Google's billing/advertising records or support correspondence. The client does not establish a fixed server retention period or complete backend-deletion scope. Ask support to review broader deletion, explain retained data and confirm service-side completion. Google-held records are also subject to Google's policy and privacy controls. ## 7. Pause referral syncing without a deletion request Open **Settings → Manage synced data → Pause referral sync**, or see Unsync for the **`echobridge://referral/unsync`** link. The website itself does not change app data. A compatible installed Android app must receive the link to apply the local pause. Unsync clears referral caches and invalidates VIP access while retaining authentication for deletion. Ads/free-tier restrictions may return unless paid Premium is valid; unsync does not cancel billing, stop reward time elapsing, delete a server profile or pause purchase verification.
