# Terms of Service

## 1. Agreement and scope
These terms govern EchoBridge's Android app, Windows companion and associated services provided by CIBRU. By using EchoBridge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains data processing. The Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Referral Rewards Terms govern those features. Nothing here removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
## 2. Service and license
EchoBridge plays a connected Windows computer's selected audio output on an Android device and sends phone microphone audio to the computer, intended for direct use over your local network. Manual and QR connection addresses are not restricted to private network addresses; traffic follows the host and network route you choose. Billing, purchase verification, referrals, installation attribution, integrity checks and advertising use separate external services when configured. You receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use EchoBridge on devices you own or are authorized to operate for lawful personal or business purposes. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
## 3. Authorized audio use
Obtain permission to access the devices and transmit the audio involved, including any consent required from people whose voices or communications are captured. Do not use EchoBridge for covert surveillance, unauthorized interception, harassment, infringement or unlawful redistribution. Computer playback capture can include sounds from other applications; check what you transmit.
Do not disrupt services, bypass security or entitlement checks, falsify purchases or referrals, distribute malicious software or misuse credentials. Restrictions on copying, modification or reverse engineering apply only as permitted by law and applicable third-party licenses.
## 4. Setup, compatibility and safe operation
Operation depends on hardware, operating-system versions, microphone permission, the companion application, network conditions, drivers and power-management restrictions. Routing audio into other computer programs may require a separate compatible virtual audio device or driver, governed by its own license and charges, if any.
Select the intended computer and audio devices and protect the pairing PIN and any QR code containing it. Scan only a connection code from a computer you trust. Use appropriate volume levels and avoid speaker/microphone feedback. EchoBridge is not an emergency communication or safety-critical monitoring service. We do not promise a particular latency, uninterrupted operation or universal compatibility.
## 5. Free tier and Premium
The free tier provides audio bridging with advertising. Free users can stream only while EchoBridge is in the foreground. Both speaker playback and microphone transmission pause when the app goes into the background or the screen is locked. Free streaming also includes a listening check after approximately 45 minutes of continuous foreground streaming. Active verified paid Premium or referral VIP access enables background streaming and removes in-app ads and this listening check. Network, device, power-management and verification requirements still apply.
Premium may come from an eligible weekly, monthly or annual Google Play subscription, when offered, or a valid referral VIP reward. USD reference plans are **Weekly $0.49/week with no trial, billed immediately**, **Monthly with a 3-day eligible free trial then $1.49/month**, and **Annual with a 7-day eligible free trial then $14.99/year**. Without an eligible trial, monthly/annual billing starts immediately at the price Google Play confirms. A subscription is not required to use the free tier or share invitations. Google Play confirms the available offer, localized price, trial eligibility and billing period before purchase.
## 6. Subscriptions
Google Play handles purchases. **All plans auto-renew until cancelled in Google Play before the trial ends or the next billing period begins.** We recommend completing cancellation at least 24 hours in advance; this is not an additional cancellation cutoff. Eligible trials convert to recurring paid subscriptions. No separate CIBRU login is required. Cancel using **Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → EchoBridge → Cancel subscription**, or https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, with the purchasing account. Uninstalling, deleting data, unsyncing or receiving referral rewards does not cancel billing.
Within **48 hours** of purchase, use Google Play's refund request; after 48 hours or if the flow is unavailable, contact support@cibru.in with the purchase date, issue and Google Play order ID in **`GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX`** format. Refund approval depends on Google's policy, circumstances and applicable law. See the Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy for details and consumer remedies.
Access requires successful verification. Pending payments do not grant Premium. Restore Purchases with the purchasing Play Store account can recover eligible access. New purchases are unavailable while purchase syncing is paused or data deletion is in progress. Verified paid access may work offline for up to 72 hours after verification, never beyond verified expiry; a restart or invalidated local state may require an earlier check. Expired, held, paused or revoked entitlements do not grant active paid access. Loss of verification does not stop billing.
## 7. Referrals
Rewards are app-specific promotional Premium access under the Referral Rewards Terms. Only service-verified eligible installations count. Referral syncing is enabled by default unless paused; sharing is optional. Reward access depends on verified expiry and does not pause or refund paid time. Unsync clears local referral caches and invalidates VIP verification while retaining authentication for a deletion request. Referral deletion does this before its network request and clears local authentication after acknowledgement. Only explicit **Restore Purchases** resumes saved purchase/referral sync pauses within the app, even if no paid purchase is found; it may create a new anonymous session after credentials were deleted, but does not recreate deleted rewards. Opening dialogs, sharing, refreshing, restarting or starting a new purchase does not clear saved pauses. Clearing storage, deleting a profile or changing devices may remove access. ## 8. Changes and suspension
We may update features or reasonably restrict access for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or material breach. Material changes to paid benefits, earned rewards or service availability will be handled with appropriate notice and remedies required by law or Google Play rules. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken. You may stop using the app at any time; cancel subscriptions separately.
## 9. Third parties and ownership
Google services, operating systems, drivers and other applications operate under their own terms. Software, branding and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership of your audio to CIBRU.
## 10. Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoBridge is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent lawful, CIBRU is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits or data, arising from its use. This does not exclude mandatory consumer guarantees or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
## 11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory protections and rights to bring a claim in your place of residence. Contact CIBRU at support@cibru.in for questions or disputes. We may revise these terms, update the effective date and provide additional notice where required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
