Data Deletion Policy. Transparent control over your information.

Governed by Cibru Interactive (cibru.in) • Lead Developer: Krishna Moni Borah • Release: v1.3.0

Commitment to Data Minimization & User Autonomy

At Cibru, our primary architectural principle is local-first processing. We do not maintain centralized user databases, social graphs, or persistent logs of your private activity. Below are instructions for managing, un-linking, and permanently deleting data associated with Focus Timer.

1. On-Device & Transient Data

All preferences, cached media, local history, and application settings for Focus Timer are stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local storage (EncryptedSharedPreferences).

To instantly clear local on-device data:

1. Open Android Settings → Apps → Focus Timer.

2. Tap Storage & cache → Clear storage (or uninstall the app).

3. All local configuration, cached tokens, and encryption keys are immediately wiped from your device.

2. Anonymous Referral Rewards Data

If you participated in the optional Free Premium Referral program, an anonymous referral profile was generated to tally credited installs and award Pro access.

Turn Off Sync on This Device:

You can immediately disconnect this device from future referral sync and halt milestone checks by visiting our dedicated unsync page:

Open Unsync Management Page
Permanent Profile Deletion:

To permanently erase your anonymous referral profile and credited events from our servers, email us at support@cibru.in with your referral code. Completed deletion purges your profile; a one-way anti-abuse hash is retained for up to 90 days before final cleanup.

3. Purchase Verification Data (Google Play)

Google Play manages all credit card and payment processing directly. Cibru never receives or stores your full payment credentials. Our verification server receives only the package name, product ID, and purchase token to validate subscription status.

In-App Purchase Data Deletion Action:

If you have an active or pending Google Play purchase recognised on your device:

  1. Open Focus Timer and tap the Pro or Premium status banner.
  2. Under active membership settings, tap Delete purchase verification data.
  3. Confirm the prompt. The app will immediately pause purchase syncing and request verification deletion from our server.
Important: Deleting verification data does not cancel your Google Play subscription. Please cancel your subscription separately in the Google Play Store (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).

4. Submitting a Direct Deletion Request

You do not need to install the app or purchase a subscription to request data deletion. Pursuant to the DPDP Act 2023, GDPR Article 17, and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may submit a deletion request at any time.

To request manual deletion, send an email to:

support@cibru.in

Please specify in your request:

  • App Name: Focus Timer
  • Scope of request: Referral Profile, Purchase Verification, or General Inquiries
  • Referral code or Google Play Order ID (GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX), if applicable

We will verify your request and confirm completion within 30 days. No fee is charged for standard deletion requests.

Data Deletion Instructions | Focus Timer · CIBRU CIBRU · Focus Timer com.focustimer.app # Data Deletion Instructions **Focus Timer** · Android package: `com.focustimer.app` Effective Date: October 20, 2026 · Operator: CIBRU (support@cibru.in) Focus Timer processes timer settings, app-usage summaries, and Shorts/Reels/feed counts locally. Google Play billing, AdMob advertising, consent services, optional Supabase referrals, and support involve separate online records. Local clearing, referral opt-out, server deletion, and subscription cancellation are different actions. **If you want server data deleted, complete the relevant in-app deletion requests before clearing storage or uninstalling.** Clearing the device first removes referral session credentials and locally known purchase tokens that may be needed to identify records or retry a request. If you have already cleared them, use the support route below. ## 1. On-Device Data Deletion To completely delete all locally stored data, cache, and settings on your Android device: - Open Android **Settings** > **Apps** > **Focus Timer**. - Tap **Storage & cache**. - Tap **Clear storage** (or **Clear data**). *Effect:* Android clears the App's private files, preferences, DataStore records, caches, and any SDK databases, including timer/theme settings, app-limit rules, counters, and local purchase/referral state. **Clear cache** removes temporary cached files; it does not delete persistent settings, purchase tokens, referral credentials, or server records. There is no single in-app whole-database-reset button. Resetting a timer or deleting a selected app-limit rule is selective. Local clearing does not erase Android's system UsageStats history, Google transactions, Supabase records, ad-provider records, or existing backups. If Usage Access remains granted, the App can read system usage history again. To stop that access, revoke Usage Access in Android settings; accessibility counting and overlay permissions can also be revoked separately. Timer/theme settings may return from Android backup; purchase, referral, and app-usage-limit stores are excluded by the configured backup rules. Use Android account/backup controls for those copies. Clearing storage or reinstalling also removes saved sync-pause preferences. On a fresh setup, automatic Google Play purchase reconciliation may run again and recreate eligible verification records. Referral sync starts off and requires *Enable Referral Sync*; enabling it after losing the old session does not guarantee recovery of your earlier profile. ## 2. Referral Profile Deletion (Server-Side) If you participated in the optional Referral Rewards Program, request deletion of this app's referral profile and linked records: - Open **Focus Timer** on your device. - Open the referral card in **Settings** to reach **Get Free Premium**. - Tap **Delete referral data** and confirm. Sync is turned off before the request; if that setting cannot be saved, no server deletion is sent. After confirmed service deletion, referral preferences and the local session are cleared. Check the result: connection, identity, or storage errors require a retry or support assistance. If no session and no registration marker remain on this device, the control can finish local cleanup without making a server request; it cannot confirm deletion of an earlier profile. An app-scoped, server-keyed device HMAC and deletion metadata remain for 90 days under the referral service contract for abuse prevention. Shared Supabase Auth, other participants' profiles, other apps, and provider logs are separate; see the full scope and retention details. Without the App, email support@cibru.in with Focus Timer, the requested scope, and any referral code you have. A public code locates a record but is not proof of ownership. We may need limited verification. Requests are handled as soon as reasonably practicable and within applicable legal deadlines; no fixed seven-business-day outcome is promised. ## 3. Google Play Purchase Records If you purchased an in-app subscription and wish to delete your purchase verification records, please see our dedicated Purchase Data Deletion Guide. Note that deleting purchase data does not cancel active billing; subscriptions must be canceled in the Google Play Subscription Center. *Settings > Delete purchase verification data* (also on the Premium screen) pauses automatic sync, clears local paid access, attempts to remove the entitlement cache/key, and rejects late verification responses. It requests server deletion for known purchase tokens only after the pause is saved and the key is removed. Failed token/product pairs may be retained for retry. The pause flag and a random local cache-namespace identifier remain; this identifier is not transmitted as a purchase identity. No token means remote deletion cannot be confirmed. Only an explicit *Restore Purchases* action (also labeled *Sync Subscription* while subscribed) resumes purchase sync with the saved pause in place; opening or starting a purchase does not. Check storage, key-removal, and service errors before restarting. ## 4. SDK Records and Referral Unsync Google Play retains its own billing records. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and User Messaging Platform handle advertising identifiers, interactions, diagnostics, and consent choices under Google's policies. Manage available choices in *Settings > Privacy & Cookie Settings* and Android's advertising-ID controls; our deletion buttons do not purge Google's records. Supabase stores optional referral identities, hashes and reward data, and configured purchase-verification data; request the relevant scope through the App or support. On *Get Free Premium*, *Turn off sync* (or *Clear local referral data* when already off) clears cached referral code/count/entitlement/attribution and stops automatic referral requests, while retaining minimal session/ownership information for explicit recovery or deletion. It does not delete the server profile, pause reward expiry, or change a valid paid subscription. Only *Enable Referral Sync* resumes automatic referral work. See the referral unsync instructions; opening the `focustimer://referral/unsync` link performs the same opt-out. Check any storage-error message because an unsaved opt-out lasts only for the current process. ## 5.
