# Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before downloading, installing, or using the **Focus Timer** application ("App") developed by Krishna-135 ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using Focus Timer, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the application.
## 1. Eligibility & License Grant
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country) to use this application. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Focus Timer on personal Android devices for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works based on the App or its code, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
## 2. Intended Use & Critical Safety Disclaimers
Focus Timer provides customizable digital timers, stopwatches, interval alerts, and digital wellbeing utilities (App Limits & Screen Blur).
**IMPORTANT SAFETY DISCLAIMER:** Focus Timer is intended solely for personal convenience, fitness tracking, study sessions, cooking, and productivity. The App must NEVER be relied upon for mission-critical operations, medical timing, medication dosages, life-support monitoring, aviation, driving, hazardous machinery, or any situation where timing inaccuracies could result in personal injury, death, or severe financial or environmental damage.
Device battery-optimization modes, third-party task killers, operating system power-saving policies, or hardware sleep states may occasionally delay background alarms or notifications. You acknowledge that you use the App at your own discretion and risk.
## 3. Digital Wellbeing & App Limits Disclaimer
The App Limits and Screen Blur features are voluntary self-regulation tools designed to help you monitor screen time. You acknowledge that:
- The App is not a certified parental control platform or tamper-proof security lock.
- You are responsible for ensuring that configuring overlays or limits on third-party applications does not interfere with emergency calls, essential notifications, or urgent communications.
- We are not liable for any missed messages, delayed responses, or data consequences resulting from user-configured screen blur or app limits.
## 4. Premium Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Focus Timer offers optional Premium subscriptions and digital purchases to remove advertisements and unlock advanced features:
- **Google Play Billing:** All purchases and subscriptions are processed exclusively through Google Play. Google Play Terms of Service govern the billing and transaction process.
- **Automatic Renewal:** Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly or annually) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- **Subscription Management:** You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Google Play account settings: *Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions*.
- **Price Modifications:** Subscription rates may be updated from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance in accordance with Google Play developer policies.
## 5. Intellectual Property
All source code, UI designs, visual artwork, icons, sound assets, and trademarks associated with Focus Timer are the proprietary intellectual property of the developer or its licensors and are protected under copyright and international intellectual property laws.
## 6. Third-Party Services & Content
Focus Timer incorporates third-party services, including Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google Play Services. Your use of these services within our App is subject to their respective terms and policies. We do not control or endorse the content of third-party advertisements served via AdMob.
## 7. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")
FOCUS TIMER IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF BUGS.
## 8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA LOSS, MISSED APPOINTMENTS, OR DEVICE MALFUNCTIONS) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
## 9. Termination
You may terminate your agreement with these Terms at any time by uninstalling the application and cancelling any active subscriptions via Google Play. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the application or your access to it at any time without notice.
## 10. Governing Law & Severability
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
## 11. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
