Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy - Focus Timer
# Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy covers Focus Timer, provided by CIBRU, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Krishna moni Borah, and its optional Google Play Premium subscriptions. Core timer tools, themes, and app limits remain free. Weekly, monthly, and annual Premium plans, when available, remove in-app ads while access is valid.
## 1. Plans, trials, renewal, and activation
The reference prices below are in US dollars. Availability, localized prices, taxes, and eligibility are determined by the live Google Play offer shown before you confirm. A price marked *Preview* in an unconfigured or offline build is illustrative, cannot be purchased, and does not start a trial.
- **Weekly Plan — US$0.49/week:** No free trial. Billed upon purchase confirmation, then automatically billed every week until canceled. Pending payments must finish before access activates.
- **Monthly Plan — US$1.49/month:** Includes a **3-Day Free Trial** for eligible new subscribers when offered by Google Play. After the 3-day trial, Google Play automatically charges the displayed monthly price (reference price US$1.49/month) every month until canceled.
- **Annual Plan — US$14.99/year:** Includes a **7-Day (1-Week) Free Trial** for eligible new subscribers when offered by Google Play. After the 7-day trial, Google Play automatically charges the displayed annual price (reference price US$14.99/year) every year until canceled.
Google Play manages trial eligibility. A free trial applies only if it is included in the offer shown to your account at checkout. If you accept an offer without a trial, paid billing starts upon purchase confirmation. A payment-method authorization hold is not necessarily a completed subscription charge.
**To avoid the first charge after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.** We recommend canceling at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the 3-day or 7-day trial ends, Google Play will automatically charge the applicable recurring price shown at checkout—US$1.49/month for the Monthly Plan or US$14.99/year for the Annual Plan—until canceled. Check the actual trial end date and cancellation status in Google Play; Google Play's live offer and applicable law govern.
Review Google Play checkout for the price, currency, billing period, applicable taxes, and any trial or offer conditions. Recurring plans renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. If a trial or introductory offer is displayed, review its eligibility, duration, and subsequent recurring price before accepting. Price changes follow Google Play rules and applicable law.
Premium activates after payment completes and successful verification. Pending payments or failed verification may delay access. Paid access can work offline for up to 72 hours after verification, never beyond verified expiry; a restart can require an earlier online check. For an eligible missing purchase, select *Restore Purchases* using the purchasing Play Store account and an internet connection. No separate CIBRU login is needed.
## 2. How to cancel
- Open Google Play Store and select the account that made the purchase.
- Tap *Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions*.
- Select *Focus Timer > Cancel Subscription* and complete Google Play’s confirmation steps.
- Check the subscription status and access end date in Google Play to confirm cancellation.
You can also use Google Play subscriptions. Cancel before the next renewal shown by Google Play to avoid the next charge. Cancellation normally preserves access until the end of the paid period and does not automatically refund that period. Pause or plan-change options apply only when offered by Google Play, under the displayed conditions.
Uninstalling Focus Timer, clearing storage, deleting purchase or referral data, or earning free referral Premium does not cancel paid renewal. Cancellation, data deletion, and refunds are separate actions.
## 3. Requesting a refund from Google Play
Eligibility depends on the purchase, timing, country, Google Play policy, and applicable law. Within 48 hours of a purchase, you may be eligible to request a refund from Google Play; this is not a guaranteed or automatic refund window. Follow Google Play’s refund guidance or locate the transaction in Google Play order history and use the available refund or problem-reporting steps.
After 48 hours, contact support@cibru.in for purchase problems and refund review, including the GPA order number described below. You may also contact us earlier. For unauthorized charges, follow Google Play’s reporting instructions promptly; applicable reporting deadlines still apply.
## 4. Requesting help or a refund from CIBRU
Email support@cibru.in with the subject *Refund request – Focus Timer*. Include your Google Play order number (for example `GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX`), purchase date, and a short explanation. For technical issues, the app version, device model, and error message can help. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, full payment-card information, or raw purchase tokens. We may request limited additional information to verify the transaction.
Look for the GPA order number in the Google Play purchase-confirmation email sent to the purchasing Google Account. You can also review that account’s order history. Include the order for the specific charge you want reviewed.
We review requests individually, including duplicate charges, failed delivery of paid benefits, and unresolved technical problems. We apply Google Play rules and mandatory consumer rights. Change of mind or forgetting to cancel does not itself guarantee a refund, but does not prevent you from submitting a request. No mandatory troubleshooting waiting period overrides a legal remedy.
We respond as soon as reasonably practicable and within applicable legal deadlines. Approved refunds are issued through Google Play; the payment method and processing time depend on Google and the payment provider. We do not promise a fixed bank-processing time.
## 5. Effect on access and referral rewards
A refund and cancellation or revocation are not always the same operation. Paid access may end when Google Play revokes the purchase; check the refund decision and subscription status to confirm whether renewal has stopped. Pending, expired, held, effectively paused, or revoked purchases do not provide active paid access; an eligible verified grace period may preserve access temporarily.
Referral rewards are earned promotional access, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for a refund. An independently valid referral reward continues to remove ads if paid access ends. Earning rewards does not automatically refund past purchases or pause future charges. Deleting referral rewards does not refund them, and restoring Google Play purchases does not restore referral progress. See referral reward terms.
## 6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or defective-service rights. In the EEA, UK, or other locations, digital content and digital services may have specific withdrawal rules. Whether a withdrawal right is lost or a proportionate charge applies depends on the type of supply, the law, and any valid consent and acknowledgement obtained during purchase. Reading this policy or simply using the App does not itself waive those rights.
