# Terms of ServiceEffective date: September 1, 2026 · Version 2.0
## 1. Agreement
By installing or using Secure PC Keyboard, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
## 2. Service and acceptable use
The app turns a compatible Android device into an input controller for a computer using Bluetooth, USB, or a local-network companion. You may use it for lawful personal or business purposes. Do not use it to access a system without authorization, transmit unlawful content, disrupt a service, bypass security, or infringe another person's rights.
## 3. Compatibility and setup
Features depend on device hardware, Android version, permissions, drivers, network configuration, the PC companion, and the host operating system. Bluetooth HID support in particular varies by manufacturer. You are responsible for choosing the correct target computer, protecting connection credentials, and reviewing text or commands before sending them.
## 4. Free tier, ads, and Pro subscriptions
The free tier is supported by advertising. Optional monthly and annual Pro subscriptions provide the benefits shown in the app, such as removing ads and unlocking eligible features. Prices, taxes, billing periods, trials, and offers are displayed by Google Play before purchase and may vary by country. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the next billing date. Cancelling stops future renewal but normally does not end access already paid for. ## 5. Updates and changes
We may update, add, restrict, or discontinue features to improve security, comply with law, or maintain the service. Material changes to paid benefits will be handled in accordance with Google Play rules and applicable law. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
## 6. Third-party services
The app uses services provided by Google, including Google Play Billing and Google Mobile Ads. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The separate PC companion may require installation and network or firewall configuration.
## 7. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and companion software are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, universal device compatibility, or that the app will meet every requirement. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
## 8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or access arising from use of the app. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited by law.
## 9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access to online or paid features when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or a material breach of these terms. Subscription rights and remedies remain subject to Google Play rules and applicable law.
